On my 1991 katana gsx750f the ignition coil wires 2 and 3 are connected to the right coil and 1 and 4 is the left coil. Firing order is 1243. First cylinder is the far left and the far right cylinder is 4. On the left coil the off white or light grey wire was on top and the orange on bottom. Be patient ripping down an engine.

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Almost always, seated on the bike the lefthand ignition coil supplies cylinders 1 (extreme left) and 4 (extreme right) while the right hand supplies the mid 2 & 3.

Good luck and thank you for using Fixya.

What is the order of spark plug wires on a 2003 monte carlo with a 3.8L in it? It has aftermarket coils so no numbers.

at the factory they put numbers on top of the coils to
get the spark plug wires in the right order , but when
you replace the coils it does not matter the numbers they
all work the same what it matter is to put the right wires in it
3.8 V6 the order is in front of the car the first coil two spark plug wires # 1 and # 4,second coil #5 and #2 the next coil #3 and #6 now in front of the car wires are front left to right you got
# 1# 3 # 5 on the back of the engine you got from left to right #2 # 4 #6 you get them wrong the car will misfire or it won't start ... good luck..

What is the proper firing order of spark plug wires on a 1982 Kawasaki kz1000?

The coils are for cylinders #1 & #4 on one coil and #2 and #3 on the other, the wire connects to the coil and then to the spark plug. Only wire length dictates what port on the coil to use. Just make sure #1 and #4 are on the same coil and you will be fine.

What order do the spark plug wires go in on a 2000 kia sportage?

Basically the coil pack in the rear of the engine feeds cylinder #4 and there is a a plug wire off of that coil pack also that feeds cylinder #1. The coil that sits toward the front of the engine feeds cylinder #2 and the plug wire coming off that coil pack feeds cylinder #3. Each coil pack has a white plastic connector that can fit either coil but the length of the wires to each coil is different and should be easy to distinguish which coil pack each connects to. -cylinder #1 would be at the front of the engine and cylinder #4 would be at the rear.

Ingnition coil b code is on how to change the coil

Do you have coil over each plug or is it a coil pack for all plugs. If each plugs has a coil, they have small screws to remove, pull the plug wire out after this. But if the coil pack, label each plug wire to keep them in order. the pack can be removed easily. It should have 4 screw, once those are out the coil pack will come off. Make sure after replacing it, you use di-electric grease on the bottom of the pack or in the coil over plug method. This keeps run-away spark and can cause mis-fire.

How do i plug in the spark plug coils? what order?

If it's the four cyl., the first coil pack bolts over the #2 spark plug. The #2 coil pack wire plugs into #3 spark plug. The number two coil pack bolts directly over the number four spark plug, and the #2 coil pack wire plugs into the #4 plug. The firing order is 1-4-2-3.

I need the firing order for a 1996 suzuki rf street bike

The spark plugs on this bike fire # 1 & 3 and 2 & 4 at the same time. Number 1 fires first so there is no worry on plug wires if that's your concern. There is only 2 coils and 2 plug wires coming out of each. Make sure you connect the wires from the # 1 coil to # 3 and the other coil is # 2 and # 4.
Let me know if you need any other specific information.

RSelvy
