Your alternator/generator must be not working. If it works, it should be able to recharge the battery when your bike is running.

Is M280 radio defective, causing battery to drain?

Just remove fuse to radio to see if this circuit is the problem. You can pull fuses one at a time and use voltmeter to see which are drawing current. Could be bad diodes in alternator which can be tested at parts store.

Have something draining my car battery. I have a 1999 Pontiac Bonneville, and I have to get a new battery about every 18 months. I had a new alternator put in, new not used, about 20 months ago. I replaced...

If you have a drain on your battery , it would not take 18 months for the battery to go dead . What do you mean The battery gauge in the dash shows only about 1/2 power, When ? When the vehicle is running ? Not charging ! The battery gauge as you call it has nothing to do with the Battery . That's showing how much the charging system is putting .The volt's indicator is controlled by the PCM - engine computer . With the engine running should show 14.1 volts .if your only seeing 7 the charging system isn't working. The alternator is controlled by the PCM as well ! Have it check by a GM dealer .

The battery on most motocycles cant take much abuse. Most batteries on bikes with proper care last about three or four years. If the one you have is this age or older I would purchase a new one.Good Luck.

No start 09 Ultra Classic Electra Glide

Sounds like your charging system is not charging the battery.

Put a volt meter on the battery, run the engine up to maybe 2,000 RPM. The voltage must be at least 13.8V, but not more than 14.5.

If that is all OK, your battery is worn out, and is not holding sufficient reserve. It would need to be replaced.

'98 Lexus ES300 Won't Start--But Has New Battery!

If your is exhibiting the same signs as a dead battery it really sounds like your alternator is bad. If you are handy, you can remove the alternator and take it to an autoparts store like autozone and they will test it for you. This is not a hard job to do, usually 2 electrical connections, 3-5 mounting bolts and you have to pop the belt off. Just reverse it to install a new one. Good luck! - Nick

My camera wont turn on

1.See what the camera manual suggests.
2. Charge the batteries fully before using them. New ones are often not charged up. They could have been in a warehouse for months.
3. The electrical contacts on your camera, the ones that interface with the batteries, may be a little corroded. If you can access them easily, try cleaning them with the eraser on the end of a pencil. Same with the batteries themselves.
4. If exposed to prolonged high humidity, electrical problems may include not only the power supply, but other electrical switches, such as the reset button., which you cannot address on your own.
5. call the manufacturer
