Battery is fully charged, no lights, horn etc when key is turned on
SOURCE: Burgman AN 250 sccoter - battery fully charged, but no power
Have you checked the fuse box yet?
SOURCE: bike will not start no power
Touch a 12" piece of wire to one terminal then touch the other end of the wire to the other terminal. Got a really good spark? No spark = bad battery. Okay, so you do get a good spark. Check the wiring harness for an unplugged wire. Also check for loose connections and burned wires. Bad ignition switch? Kill switch turned on?
SOURCE: bike wont turn over
Use the voltmeter to check the battery while you are trying to start the bike. If it drops below 10v the battery is bad. If it stays at 12v or more look for a loose cable or poor ground.
SOURCE: will turn over but not start
Hi and welcome to FixYa,
You may want to check for the presence/absence of spark. Temporarily remove one of the plugs or use an old but known to be good / spare plug, attach the plug cap, allow the metal end of the spare plug to touch the engine and crank. There should be spark on the gap of the plugs. If not then the problem is in the ignition system. If no spark, try starting with the sidestand folded, clutch lever pulled and ensuring neutral light is lit.
Pls postback results.
Good luck and thank you for using FixYa.
