Hi .......... It's only held in place by two set screws, you don't need to strip engine.

go to your local honda dealer or a good library and look up the exact make and model of your bike and get the plug wiring code for the cdi,most bikes i know aere different from each other in the cdi wiring,if you get it wrong the first time,you will fry the cdi and they are quite expensive to replace..hope this helps

I'm quit sure its the main bearing which supports the crankshaft, sadly this is a complecated replacment and it could be costly, mostly because of the amount of disasembly involved in getting to the main bearing.

Usually if the float is adjustable you will set it so if there is a flat surface on top or side of the float it will be parallel with the bottom surface of the carb body when the needle valve just closes (before depressing the spring in the needle)
