Unhook exhaust pipe, check port for blockage. if it is clear try to rev up with pipe off.If exhust is clear you will need to check high side of carb. good luck

SOURCE: bike idles, but with a little throttle it jumps to high rev and wont come back down to idle

You need to oil your cables first....They make a gadget to help you do clamps around the end of the cable, and you spray oil into a provided hole for a spray nozzle tube...Then see if the cables are unstuck by turning the throttle grip back and forth for awhile....start it and see if that helped....if not you may need to replace the cable(s)...I doubt that the slide in the carb is hanging up...or valve. If this doesn't work notify me.

SOURCE: kx f 250 won't idle

check and make sure there is no trash in the carb. to do so take off the float bowl which is on the bottom if the carb then see if gas comes out while the float is down, if there is no gas then take off the float (pull out the little pin) then the float needle, then with an air hose blow through the hole that the float needle was in.

Check the carbs if all jets are well placed, needles all at same height, float levels equal, collars between carbs and cil head all tight, rubbers not punctured or broken...

I did clean my 250 kemco carberators .It idels wel,ref wel but does not want to go slow. Can you please advise me.

If it idles and revs fine, then make sure there is no binding in the throttle cables. Turn your handlebars, right lock to left lock while twisting the throttle open to closed. Everything should operate smoothly.

My kymco yup 50 does not idle. The lights on the dash flicker, and it dies. I can rev up the guess, but as soon as I let go, the bike dies. What's going on?

Give the bike a service, plugs, filters and the battery voltage when the machine is revving at about 1000 revs - the voltage should be about 13 volts (give or take a bit) But I believe you have a blocked air filter or the wrong plug.

Loses power going uphill

Could be low fuel pressure, or a long list of other things.
Is the check engine light on ?
Does it feel like it is running rough, or starving for fuel ?

I have a problem with my Kymco People 150. When riding on a long road with consistant speed, the bike loses revs and slows don until I pull over and let it idle for a few secs. I then start off again, but...

The engine is heating up.
You need to change the engine oil.
This is a forced air cooled motorcycle... clean all open ports from where the air enters the engine.. this is located just under the seat / floor where you rest your foot.
