Hi it sounds like the starter solinoid or starter relay is not working or there could be a loose wire or the starter motor is faulty

Yes, the starter clutches sometimes get stuck on those bikes.
Then the starter turns at very high speeds and get broken.
Remove the starter from the engine ( that's an easy job )
Hold the starter in a bankwrench and connect a 12V battery to it. If the starter turns, he is OK, if not, replace the starter and his clutch system.

since have change new battery, will the motor turn over? if the engine turn over or crank, check if you have sparks, by pulling the plug out and ground it to the metal to the bike and turn the motor over and see if you getting spark, double check if you are getting fuel, two items to make the engine run, sparks and fuel. if the stater dont make any sound when you press the start button it may be faulty serenoid to the starter, check starter and starter switch. you can get a light tester and test positve and negative contact to your serenoid/starter by hold or pressing start button to see if you get power to the starter. hope that help some

Did the starter work when it was jumped by a car battery? If so, the problem is probably the battery in the bike. Take the battery to an automotive parts house and have it tested. Usually, they'll test the battery for free.
What is the CCA of your battery? Those big engines are hard to start and you may not have a battery with enough "Cold Cranking Amps" to turn the engine over. The old Harley Sprint (1973 & '74) was notorious for this. You really had to have a strong battery in that bike for he electric starter to work.
Some bikes have wiring that disables the starter if the transmission is not in neutral. Check on this as well.

You got it, faulty starter solenoid or wiring from switch to solenoid.
