How can I fix a dent on the side of my car?

It depends a lot on the area the dent is in, the size and if the paint is cracked, damaged or scraped off. If the dent is on a body line, its going to take a lot more to fix it, if its in an open flat area without any sharp creases, you can many times do some paintless dent repair and bend it back into shape. This is the least expensive method.

If its a fender that can be removed, many shops now get a replacement fender and paint it to match. When you match paint, you generally need to blend the surrounding fenders/hood/body to get it to look right. There is a lot of skill involved with paint matching and the application of paint. Unless you have a shop and the equipment to spray it, you would need to get someone with experience to apply the paint so it looks right.

The 3rd option to repair the dent is to get a body hammer set, with a dolly/flat hammer etc and pound the dent as close to its original position as possible, then use a body filler and sand it. This part could save you money if you want to choose and have someone paint it. Or if its an old car, you could have the paint matched with the car and put in an aerosol can where you could spray it on yourself. Its not going to be perfect by a long shot, but certainly better than a big ugly dent thats been repaired and primered

Damaged plastic liner of wheel well rubs on tire when driving over bumps

Even if you popped the dent out, the liner may not fit back on tightly. They are usually held by plastic clips or plastic pins or even plastic screws that easily get distorted, or the hole they are held with gets enlarged from tearing. You could keep the liner up with a couple of machine screws drilled into strategic places....or, you could just remove the liner-it's not a safety issue-it just helps keep mud and dirt from building up in the wheel wells and fender corners. To remove it, first take the wheel off. Then you can see how it is held on Pull it off and throw it away.
If you pop the dent out and fender looks pretty good, and the liner appears it can be re-used with just a little help, all the better.
It;s up to you.

What is the average cost to get a dent popped out on the left side above the back wheel?

If the dent isn't creased anywhere you could try a bathroom plunger or try removing the liner in the fender well and use your hand.

1994 Mercury Topaz Fender Removal

Harbor Freight and most local body shop supply stores should have a suction-cup type tool for pulling out dents. You maybe able to remove the inner fender well to get to the dent. To remove the fender, you'll need to remove the top fender bolts, the bolts that attach it to the header panel, and the bolts holding it on back by the door.

How to pull out a car rear fender

If you mean "remove a rear fender" ... you can't. The rear fenders are part of the unibody construction. They are part of the "main" body.
You have to "cut" the fender off.

If you mean "pull out a big dent" in a rear fender, then use a "knocker" and a set of special double-head hammers and dollies. ... and putty ... and sandpaper ... and primer ...

Sorry ... hope this helps!

Rear bumper on mazda mpv

Removal of the rear bumper on an Mazda 2004 to 2006 MPV.
It's afairly simple task: 1) Open the rear hatch or (door) remove the torx screws at the bottom of the weather strip. 2) Remove both tail lights by unscrewing the two phillip screws on each light, once removed the lights pulling toward the side of the van. Let them hang from the wires. You will see a clip (white in color),pry it out from behind the bumper material and go to the next step. 3) Remove three 8mm head screws in each fender well and three plastic clips. Then remove an 8mm screw at the top corner of the bumper against the rear fender. If your car has splash guards remove them as well. 4) Remove the two clips at the bottom of the bumper attached to the under carriage. 5) Pull the bumper toward the back of the vehicle be careful with the tail lights. Remember, they are hanging loose.
And that's it, you have done it.

High Mileage.... No Timing belt change!....

If you buy this car, you should change the timing belt asap. Check Edmonds, and other internet sites for average prices, (197k miles brings the price down for sure, internet sites should give an amount to deduct for the miles) average for this year is around 70k). The fog light and small dent aren't big issues, but deduct the cost of timing belt change from prices you get on the internet. Good Luck coountrycurt0
