Starting husqvarna smr 450

Check your charging system. Low battery/bad altinator/bad ground will cause the problem. Also check your timing.

SMR's only hold about a liter. My 2007 SMR510 only held a liter of oil. Use the good stuff and change it often!!! I never went over 700 miles on oil.

Take plug out of saw, ground it out on metal cylinder, slowly crank saw and see what kind of spark you have. Quick,bright blue fire is good, yellow or huge kernel fire is not. No fire is ignition module. If soaked with gas change plug if that don't do it, it is time to put a kit in the carberator.

I would check the spark plug after cranking to see if is getting gas-clean and re-install-also if your battery is weak you may have a dead cell that may be effecting the quality of the spark thus not firing -cheers Denny

If you take the Plugs out, does the motor turn over then?

its not keeping the charg in the battery or you need a battery it cost noffing to get it check at a auto shop

try the woodruff key on the flywheel it might have sheared and thus the timing is now incorrect
