It is quiet easy, you remove the seat then the fuel tank this will expose the carburetor then its simply a matter of disconecting fuel line and unscrewing attachement screws. why do you need to do this? I would be very careful doing this as any dirt or dust or grime getting in can have huge impact

I put a fmf slip on, on my 06 Suzuki 125 drz-l and it is running a bit lean I was wondering what size I should go with on the jetting?

I take a small drill and go up to the nearest 0.1 say if you have jet with 104 bore, go to 1.1 drill, means 110 bore, next is 1.2 and so on,
When you find the right size, then buy a jet in that size.

Kickstarter is stuck 2003 Suzuki DR-Z 125 L

Rock the bike gently forward and back while shifting into fifth gear. Now push the bike forward while sitting on it and see if the rear tire turning will turn the motor. If not, your motor is stuck. If it turns, you have a kickstarter issue.
Many people never learned to depress the kickstarter down until you feel it engage before kicking it through. Kicking from the top slams the gear teeth together and causes damage. You may need to pull of the engine cover to determine if there’s damage.

How much is a new carburettor for drz 125? Is it cheaper to get the carb kit instead?

A new carb for your bike is $192.00. If you can get a kit or even the individual items in a kit, the kit will cost a whole lot less. Check out Babbitt's; www.babbittsonline.com tombones49_292.gif

My son wanted to ride in the 12 degree weather-2003 Suzuki 2003 drz 125. He went to twist the throttle and heard cracking sounds and now the throttle does not return to the original position. Could he...

Yes it is possible to make it work,he has to dis assemble carb slide anyway,so while it is apart he can try it,should work though, doesnt hurt to give it a try.

could be a blockage in the tank their is a strainer in most bikes fuel tap look at the tap and see if their is a small bowl shaped cup under the tap if so unscrew it and clean the filter if not try running the fuel from the tank it should flow at a constant rate if it slows then the internal filter may be blocked youll have to take the tam\nk off and remove the tap and clean out the crud

How do you change oil on a 2007 suzuki 125 drz

Just remove the fill plug to let air in then the drain plug to drain the oil. NEVER use synthetic oil or oils with "Special" additives. They can mess up your clutch. 10w40 motor oil is used in the gearbox. Pleas rate my answer. Thanks

Engine gets off sudeenly while riding

There seems to be fuel stravation problem to the carburator....
Remove the carburator and thn remove the float bowl and clean the float pin and its passage...there could be some kind of dirt in the pathway and thus the obstruction of the fuel flow into the float chamber.
If your bike doesn't have an 'in-line' filter ....install one! this will help catch the dirt before it finds its way into the float chamber.

Hope this helps!
