Speedometer i have a 2002 yamaha r6.. when i start the bike the speedomoeter numbers start at 15..not zero...and usually fluxuates bet 15-25 mph..also the rph gauge would go to like 2 to 2 1/2 and just drop strait back to zero..seems like a simple prob..im thinkin its the battery, cause i took the battery to a bike shop, and it says it was reading no life....plus i have to jump start it, just to start it..could it be the battery?

Speedomoeter

start by making sure the wires at the battery are snug. if they are, make sure all your connectors are clean and secure. do you have a speed heeler or speed doctor wired on your bike? they've been know to throw off the speedometer, teach, and temp on your gauges. especially if it's the one with the 8 awg power cable.
