Tire / Slow Leak Question

I have a 2003 Ford ZX2 with a slow leak in the front driver side. I was wondering what you would recommend for potentially fixing it:

Using Slime tire sealant
Using TrueGoo
Getting a valve stem replacement and seeing if that resolves it

Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Dunk this tire so you know where the leak is coming from to start with so you know how to address the repair needed. Many shops will charge you and extra $10 for having to deal with that slime stuff. The fix a flat is not a repair.

If all else fails...Just get a tube and put inside the tire..If there's a hole you can patch it from the inside of the tire...Then put the tube inside...Problem solved..Yes they can do that. I've done it many times when they said the tire can't be fixed

Just need to put a plug in it. If you remove the tire, just put your ear to it. Turn the tire and follow it with your ear. You’ll find it. Once you do, drive a plug into it. It’s easy and cheap. Here’s a how to video:

On my 2012 ford focus the low tire pressure gauge came on I put air in the tires but it remains on

If the tires are not all the same shape, brand, size, and age, this will haunt you. The best thing to do is manually check your tire pressure every time you get gas for a month or so. If a tire has a slow leak, it might take a few days or a week to measure, and you may never "feel" a low tire until damage is done to it. While doing the pressure check, fill the tires up to what ford recommends. If you have a slow leak, you will remember after filling up the same tire a few times.

That being said, you may not have a leak. A tire may be out of balance, or out of round. Check your tread depth. Sensors are also known to go bad.

2005 Dodge neon front passenger tire keeps going flat. Have replaced the tire twice with no luck. At first it was a slow leak, but now it goes flat about every 2-3 days. What would cause this?

It's very possible the rim has a slight bend in it, causing an imperfect bead and a slow leak. Only ways to loose air in a tire are:
  1. Loose valve stem
  2. Bad bead (contact between the tire and rim)
  3. A leak in the tire itself due to a puncture

Air conditioner works on pasenger side and is hot on driver side...

I had this on my Impala and Bonneville. Your freon is probably low and you have a slow, slow leak. It probably needs less than one can of freon. Have someone recharge your a/c.

My 2003 ford taurus has oil pan gasket leak just

All you have to do is get under the car with a 1/2" drive ratchet, 3" extension, an extension swivel, and the socket for the bolts on the oil pan. Go through all the bolts and tighten them all up. You will be surprised at how loose some of them are.

Air suspension drops on one side

Common problem. You have a slow leak. Just like a tire, the solution is to look for it, with a spray bottle of soapy water. All the lines, fitting, valves, etc., are suspect. The actual chambers are the only expensive parts. There are leak stop liquids you can try?
