All brake lights stopped working. We replaced the brake light switch and still no brake lights. All fuses are good and no problem with the wiring. We did replace the center brake bulb and now it works. The other two bulbs are good. We are stumped....could it possibly be the turn signal switch? And if so, would we just need to replace the harness? Oh we also tried unhooking the battery for a bit and still nothing when hooked back up. Any help would be great!
I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a broken ground wire.

The brake lights are routed through the signal light switch.
Looks like that will be the next switch to replace and the problem.

I had this problem, and to be honest, it happened to the left side about a week later...it's the board that the bulbs plug into...it's a very common problem with this model. So popular that you can normally get the socket board off the shelf at a parts store! it's extremely simple to replace, and I replaced all the bulbs at the same time!

Hello. The symptoms you are describing are likely due to a poor ground. Temporarily install a new ground wire by securing a piece of copper wire to the frame with a self tapping screw. Use this ground wire along with the hot wire to see if each of these lights works. If it does, trace the ground wire back to the frame, unscrew it and clean up the metal with emery cloth so you reestablish a good ground.

Both turn signals work, tail lights work and flashers work...just not the brake lights.
