I just purchased an older truck - 1992 F150 . When the temperature is above around 65 degrees, I noticed that gas is leaking from the gas cap area. What is causing this leaking to occur? If a cap is not tight enough can gas ''boil over?'' A check engine light is not on and I have two tanks and have been using the back one. It is the front tank that is leaking but I thought it was empty. Not sure what is going and concerned about safety and enviroment.
