SOURCE: 97 suzuki marauder fork seals problem

Normally no. If the fork seals are leaking when you ratchet the front down on the trailer your seals were bad prior to that. If you are talking about the straps being wrapped around the forks the only thing that they would contact would be the dust covers. The fork seals are actually down inside the fork about 1/4 inch. Have a good day

Your idle circuit jet is clogged, you will need to run seafoam fuel additive in your gas tank and see if this clears it up or clean the carbs.

Dirty contacts at the switch or a bad flasher.
sometime working the switch vigorously back and forth will clear the carbon build up in the switch along with some wd40.

SOURCE: fuse location on 2004 Suzuki VZ 800 Marauder

This should be the location of the fuse box

Remove the left side cover, look near the middle and you will see a black rectangular box mounted sideways. It has a Phillips head screw in the middle. On the end of the box that faces the front of the bike it should say FUSE (it may have dust over the words). Remove the screw and pop the plastic box off, the fuses are under there - 4 or 5 of them.

Need help puttin on a trailer plug on 2002 suzuki marauder

You can pull all your power from the rear tail light! You'll need a multimeter(Or at least a test light of some sort!) on your adapter you'll have a green, a yellow, a brown and a white wire.
White- is your ground(Find a good clean nut/bolt on your frame)
green- Right turn signal/brake light
yellow- left turn/brake light
Brown- tail lights

What you'll have to do is find the wires for the tail light on your bike, And one by one probe them(with your multimeter/test light) With whichever accessory on(E.G. turn lights on, then probe the wires until you find the one that has power, This will be your tail light wire. same with both of your turn signals and brake light!
