Pass side fuse box dead after arching the battery, no power

Purchased a 93 Lesabre about a week ago with 98k on it. While switching the batteries out I accidentally arched the battery. Now the only thing that works is the drivers puddle light. All fuses on drivers side and under the hood have tested good. I swapped out each relay with a new one to eliminate them as a problem. So far I've found that there is one relay(4th from left) that isn't getting power to it and the passenger side fuse box under the dash also isn't getting any power to it. All fuses in the panel seem to be ok. Im not sure how to find the problem...

Chances are its one of the fuseable links at the starter. The car gets some of its power thru those wires. They look like regular wires except they have an internal fuse. You may need a wiring diagram to figure out which circuit is affected.

SOURCE: rear window defroster, no driver heated seat

check the ground on the passenger side of the rear window under the trim panel. That is what was wrong with mine.

SOURCE: We understand that your problem is: bought 94 pa

I would check around the starter for a fusible link that stretches with about 5 lbs. of pull, when blown. They can be identified by seeing a small foam rubber round piece on the apparently color coded wires coming off of the starter. This may explain why the accessories are not working correctly and the regular fuses are not blown.

Good luck on this repair.

SOURCE: car cranked for about 5

I would check the connections at the battery for the pos. and neg. posts or side posts. If it cranked, then it should keep on cranking for more than 5 sec if the connections are good and the battery is fully charged.

There are fusible links, but they generally won't blow because of cranking.

Good luck on this repair.

SOURCE: 1989 buick lesabre horn won't

possible horn itself is faulty and needs replacing. you will need to locate where the horn is and apply power to the horn from the battery. if the horn sounds then you know that it is a broken wire th=o the horn

Pass side fuse box has no power after arching the battery. Need help!

Good you have tried it! I pressume all fuses and relays are fine. Check if there are broken wires from the main source of the distritbution fuse boxes. Now, try to supply the said relay (from the left) using jumper wires from the distribution fuse box voltage source. Goodluck.

Windows, side mirrors and door locks suddenly stopped working on 2002 Buick Lesabre Limited

The first thing to do would be to hook up a factory or professional type scan tool an check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's . This vehicle has very complex electronic's. Serial data communication network,class2 data bus . There are electronic modules inside the door's that control the lock's ,power window's , power mirror's . Your best bet ,take it to a qualified repair shop . Not a fuse problem , driver an passenger door module each have thier own power supply. Two circuit breakers ,PWR/WDO circuit breaker 30 amp. You could check DRVMDL 10amp fuse ,located in the rear fuse box , PASSMDL 10amp fuse rear fuse box , RRDR/MDL 10 amp fuse rear fuse box . Rear fuse box is under the back seat . None of the window's , lock's etc.. work from any door switch ?

2002 buick Lesabre (Limited) - When operating the AC I have warm air coming out of the on driver's side vents and cold air on coming out the passanger side vents.

check battery, battery cables, starter, starer solenoid, check if your battery have any power left, by turning lights on, if light is strong then on the starter motor, remove the remote wire, the thin wire connected to the starter from the ign. switch, instead of the remote cable, try to by pass it, with battery voltage, with ign switch on on pasition, if your starter works the starter is good if not change the estater, if starter works then check the remote wire, could be damage, could be the starter switch, fuse , or the starter relay. when working on car always make sure if the engine starts there is rotsting components. Thanks

If you have to arch the starter solenoid then its your starter goinng bad. It would be a good idea to also get your batterie tested to make sure you have all your bases covered.(starter & Batterie can be tested at your local parts store)
