Check the diaphragm in the carburetor of each saw for hardness or cracking of the material. This is a common problem with older saws, but easily fixed by replacement. Check the fuel filter within the tank of each saw for being plugged--a problem that occurs when leaving old fuel mix in the tank for long periods. Hope this helps!

If you have a good plug in still no spark you will need to install a new coil.

Make sure your getting a spark at the plug. Not much to these machines but verify good spark before anything else.

RCJ6Y is the plug number, you can get them at any home improvement store for about $3

Remove the spark plug and pour a teaspoon of gas into the spark plug hole then replace the spark plug and it will start.
