Water leaks , have you closely inspected the header tank for cracks, leaks etc. Could be that once its hot the increae in pressure is causing the leak, look for any traces of old leaks which may have dried out by the time you stip things down

My suzuki intruder 800 has troble running when i first start it, and will often die. also after it is warmed up once in a while it will just seem to "miss" sometimes dieing and sometimes not. ...

Sounds like a fuel issue. Open drain valves on carby bowls and allow to empty, turn fuel tap on/prime to allow fuel to flush through. Close drain valves and try again.

1997 suzuki intruder 800 15,000 miles fuel leaking from rear bank exhaust, and drain hose will only stay running with choke on full.

Sound like it's time to get the carbs looked at.

It wouuld seem your float is bad, stuck, or not properly adjusted,; thus causing too much fuel to enter the cylnder
