You need the service manual. The gas tank must be removed.

The battery is located under the seat. I have a 2004 Rune, I changed oil last year with Mobile 1 Synthetic 5-30W. The bike is running great. Added 4 quarts.

there are 2 bolts under rear fender,take those out and slide seat backwards to free from hooks...

3/4 of a 5 lb bag of brown rice should do it. Run better on Uncle Ben Instant
