Coil not firing

This is likely a waste fire ignition system where one coil is firing two plugs. This is a less expensive system for the OEMs and is used in many models. I would swap the coil with another to assure that it is the coil and not the Spark Control Module.

If problem moves with the coil replace the coil.

check power and ground and signal voltage at the coil electrical plug. chances are your missing one of them.

check your coil(s).

The Mower Model Numbers are Usually Located Under the Seat on a Sticker on the Body of the Mower.
