SOURCE: bike was runniong filled gas tank aND started it and it died and will not start.it acts like its not getting any fire

i suspect the main live wire going to your ignition
where you turn the steering it weakens the main wire
and eventually brakes around the head stock area
result total loss of power
may even blow your main fuse
one of the most common faults with most motorcycles

hope this info helps

Need suggested fixes

clean your carb out, not getting enough gas I guarantee you didn't run wire thru your jets best thing to do is take the carb to your nearest lawnmower repair shop to have them soak it in cleaning solution for a day or to and have them put a carbkit in it

Have 2155 cub cadet when it gets hot spudders then dies wouldn't start until cools acts like it not getting gas what could be the problemn?

To be quite honest it sounds more like a fire issue than fuel. More times than not when a coil starts going bad the hotter it gets the weaker it gets and sometimes stops firing at all until cooling down, occasionally a plug will do this aswell, but I think your coil is going out.

My riding mower will not start,it turns over

remove your breather pour just a little gas directly into the bowl of the carburator less than a once then try to start it. if it starts and runs for a few seconds then dies then its not getting gas and most likely a problem with the carbuator. if it doesn't start at all by doing this then its not putting fire to the spark plug there are many problems for this so after you try this and your problem is in the firing of the spark plug let me know and i will give you a few things to check for this problem.

My 2001 saturn s series car died on me a couple months ago, i thought it had simply ran out of gas, so i put more gas in it to try to restart it, i found that it will fire, but not start, i could not hear...

Hi :) That starting system has a coil pack and if one side stops working the engine only fire on 1-3 or 2-4 which make the engine shake and not start. There should be a crank senor that could be on its way out. and check the relays in the black box buy the battery there is one for the fuel pump and pre start pump.

HELLO: It could be a frozen gas line and or stopped up filter, filter is on drivers side under the truck, looks like over sized small coke can with a connection on both ends. Thats the first place I would check.
