Battery light do not come on when switch is turned on

Buy or borrow a voltmeter, check the voltage across the batteries, the light bulbs, and the switch open and closed. The full battery nameplate voltage should appear across the battery, and across the light bulbs when the switch is closed, and across the switch when the switch is open. If these are not true, you need to look for breaks in the circuit. To do that, turn the switch on, check the volts across the battery, keep the negative connected to the battery, but disconnect the positive voltmeter wire from the battery, check the voltage on both sides of the switch, if they each match the battery voltage, move on to checking the voltage on each side of the light bulb. If one side of the bulb matches the battery voltage and the other side is zero the bulb should light. If not Change the light bulb. If both sides of the bulb match the battery voltage, then there's a break in the wires between the bulb and the negative side of the battery.
Now going back to the switch situation: with the voltmeter negative still connected to the negative of the battery, if one side of the switch matches the battery and the other side of the switch is zero, either the switch is off or broken. Turn the switch on and off a number of times measuring the two voltages each time. If you can't get both sides of the switch to match the battery, the switch is broken, replace it. Possibly four way flasher switch is defective,
Unplug wiring harness fro the back of the hazard warning light switch. if the lights stop flashing , replace the hazard switch.

There is obviously have a drain on the battery. You have a faulty break light pedal switch causing the lights to stay on, or your turn signal switch is bad. your brake lights run through, the turn signal switch too. That could also cause the problem.

check battery volts should be 12.6 volts.if not battery dead.have battery charged and test if battery can be charged alternator faulty.if battery dead cant be charged replace battery.and clean battery cables if EPC warning light still flash have vechicle code scan for faulty accelerator control system or mass air flow sensor.to get vechicle started after replacing battery just turn ignition switch to the on position for 30 seconds then turn off ignition switch then start engine.

When you turn the power button off, this turns off the motor, NOT the battery. There is a light switch, you can locate this in the owners manual. Turn this light switch off. If lights are still on then it will kill the battery. The power button does not turn off the BATTERY, just puts it in idle. This should be 100% the case if the light turns off when the battery is still connected. I would be glad to answer any more questions or details.

If you don't want the light to drain your battery pull the bulb out, pull the fuse, or disconnect the battery. It sounds like a door switch or your light switch maybe faulty cauing a constant power condition to your interior light.

It could be a bad ignition switch, do you have instrument panel warning lights when you try to start it?

Try disconnecting your park lights after you have a charged battery to see if that is the reason your battery is going dead. If it's still charged then most likely, there's your problem. I would try this before tackling the switch.
