best bet is to take apart the ignition console, and use the plug with a battery and contact wires from a voltmeter. These have fine tips. First, attach ground to ground, and then use the positive cable to check the connections in the plug so that the lights come on. then run a positive wire to this connector. Next try to find the one that turns the motor over. with the ignition already on, the motorcycle should start. once the bike starts, remove the wire to the starter, and it should run. Don't forget to center the emergency shutoff, and pull the choke if it has one. The other solution is to hit the bike wreckers for an ignition assembly, or take the ignition to a Suzuki dealer and have them order a new key from the factory.

You don't have an adjustable float as it is a plastic type with fixed adjustments. If you are having flooding problems you may want to check and see if the float may have a hole in it letting fuel into the center and weighing it down, remove the float and put it up to a strong light and look though it or shake it near your ear to hear any liquid inside. Good luck - Les

Most of the time it is the timing the exhaust valve is opening when the motor is ready to fire or problem 2 could be valves not seating properly
