1999 saab 9-5 stalls without warning won't restart for 30-40 min.

No ckeck engine lite or codes at any time. After first time, replaced spark plugs, fuel and air filters. Did it again, replaced ignition coil pack. checked and had voltage on pin 6 &10 on the ignition coil pack. waited 35 min. and started. replaced battery. no change and still no codes or ck engine lite. It only happens when the car is hot. Tried letting it sit and idle for over an hour, no problem. Drove it 8 mi. stalled, sat 40 min. started and drove 6 mi. stalled, sat 35 min. started and drove 3 mi and parked it.

I just bought my ranger rover 2000 from an auction I was told it need the ignition fuse. We drove it home no problem about 19 mi. when I went back out to start it a couple of hours later it died. would not start for a couple of hours. After finding the reset switch it did restart then in about 1- min died again when we turned off the key back windsheild wiper and a lot of the other thing came on in the car. after finally getting it shut off as soon as we opened the passenger car door to get out the windsheild wiper came on again. Is this an ignition fuse or what is going on Seems possessed

Saab stalls while being driven

I would suspect the crankshaft position sensor is starting to fail. Sometimes the hose from the intercooler to the throttle body gets a hole in it where it passes by the exhaust. If it's neither of those two things someone should put a fuel pressure gauge on the car and monitor fuel pressure when the stalling issue occurs.

Saab 9-3 1999 convertible

On 1999 9-3 models there is a fuel filter located under the pass rear door. However if this was plugged it would not kick back in after a short time. Typical suspects are crankshaft position sensor which will work well on a cold engine and intermittently cut off and on when the engine is hot. Its a cheap sensor, and very easy to change. Possibly check condition of spark plugs and the DI cassette as well. Also check function of Fuel pressure regulator. Any fault codes stored (CEL on?)
