hi,sounds like your voltage regulater has failed,it is supplying to much voltage to the bulb and causing it to burn out,if you dont have a voltmeter take the bike to a garage and check the voltage ,with the bike running at about 2500rpm,the meter shouldnt read more than about14.2-15.0v,if it does, that means it is faulty, hope this helps...cheers
The voltage regulater could be bad in your alternater. If you go to an auto parts store that checks electrical parts [Auto Zone for one] they may be able to solve your mystery. It could also be the engine ground broken. It is a braided copper wire that is usually located at the bottom or back of the engine and connects to the frame of the car
measure the voltage at the bulb socket with the engine at 3000 rpm. it souldn/t be more than 14.5 volts, if more the alternator voltage regulater is defective.
the poer supply faulty. Isolate Horizontal output stage from the power supply and connect dummy load (like normal bulb same wattage as TV ) and test. before that pls check all component in power supply and replace and burnt parts spacialy diodes caps and power regulater ic as well
