1. Drain fuel tank as follows:
Obtain a short section of hose with a 5/16 inch (7.9 mm) I.D.
Insert bolt in one end of hose and install hose clamp to
ensure that end is securely plugged. Using a side cutters, cut
clamp from one end of crossover hose beneath fuel tank.
Quickly replace crossover hose on fuel tank fitting with open
end of short hose while directing flow of gasoline from free
end of crossover hose into suitable container.
2. Remove seat.
3. Purge the fuel supply line of high pressure gas. Proceed
as follows:
a. Remove the 15 amp fuel pump fuse.
b. Start the engine and allow the vehicle to run.
c. When the engine stalls, operate starter for 3 seconds
to remove remaining fuel from fuel lines.
4. Unthread bolt and remove battery negative cable (black)
from battery negative (-) terminal.
5. Carefully cut anchored cable strap securing main harness
bundles, console pod conduit, fuel level sender/fuel pump conduit, and fuel vapor vent tube to left side of frame backbone.
6. Open fuel door on console. Remove two Allen head
screws inboard of rubber bumpers. These screws
secure console to clip nuts on the canopy bracket.
7. Remove Allen head screw to detach flange at rear of
console from clip nut on fuel tank weldment.
8. Lay a clean shop towel on forward part of rear fender.
9. Remove filler cap from neck of fuel tank. Remove console
and lay upside down on shop towel. Reinstall filler cap.
10. At top of canopy, depress button on socket side of 3-
place Mini-Deutsch connector to release fuel tank harness.
11. Gently pry fuel vapor vent tube from fitting on filler neck
of fuel tank. Exercise caution to avoid pulling fitting from
filler neck.
12. Locate quick-connect fitting on left side of fuel tank. Pull
up on chrome sleeve and pull down on fuel supply line
fitting to disconnect.
13. Remove two fuel tank front mounting bolts (with flat
washers) from left and right side of frame. Remove bolt
(with flat washer) to free rear of fuel tank from frame
backbone.
14. Remove fuel tank from vehicle.
I can tell you what you have to remove. One you have to take off your seat. there is a bolt at the end of your gas tank, start there. then you have to go to the front off your gas tank, and remove the big bolt that goes all the way through from one side to to the other., you also have to remove your gas cross over line. make sure that you pinch your gas line, because it will start coming out right away. Next you can lift your gas tank up a little bit and there will be a electric fuel gauge line with a clip remove that. Not sure there is also a gas line that leads to your petcock. Good Luck! Have someone helping you.

Drain the fuel either by siphening or removing the cross over tube at the front of the tank and letting it drain that way or just block off those cross over lines and leave the fule in the tank for removal.
0) remove seat
1) drain fuel
2) undo cross over line (bottom front of gas tank.
3) shut off pet **** and remove fuel line from pet ****.
4)there should only be 2 bolts holding the tank on, one at the top front of the tank and one at the back of the tank.
All in all a pretty easy (but possibloy messy) job.

SOURCE: What is the clutch adjustment
To adjust the clutch, follow the clutch cable until you find the cable adjuster. Move the adjuster cover up or down to expose the adjuster. Loosen the lock nut and adjust the adjuster to get as much slack as possible.
Now, remove the derby cover. Loosen the locknut in center of the clutch assembly. Turn the center bolt inwards until you feel a resistance. Do not force the bolt, just turn it inward until you feel a resistance. Then back the bolt back out 1/2 turn and lock the locknut. Replace the derby cover.
Now, go back to the cable adjuster and adjust it back out until you have about 1/8" freeplay. Squeeze the clutch lever a few times and recheck the freeplay. Lock the locknut and replace the cover.
Good Luck

SOURCE: how ti adjust the clutch on a2008 harley davidson
To adjust the clutch, follow the clutch cable down to the frame front downtubes and find the cable adjuster. It's usually covered with a rubber bellows. Slide the bellows up or down exposing the adjuster. Loosen the lock nut and turn the cable adjuster in all the way getting as much slack in the cable as possible.
Then take the derby cover off the primary. In the center of the clutch assembly, you'll see an adjuster screw and a lock nut. Loosen the lock nut. Turn the adjuster screw inward until you feel a resistance. DO NOT FORCE THE SCREW OR YOU'LL BREAK YOUR INNER CLUTCH HUB. If you need to, back the screw out and turn it back in just till you feel the resistance several times to get the feel of it. Once you feel the resistance, back the screw off 1/2 turn and lock the lock nut down.
Then, go back to the cable adjuster and turn the adjuster barrel out until you have about 1/8 inch of freeplay in the cable. Tighten the lock nut and replace the rubber bellows. Replace the derby cover.
Good Luck
