Can you tell me what the problem is
The Vespa ET2 50 has a two-stroke engine which needs an oil mixture in the gasoline. There are 2 (two) tanks under the seat: 1 is for gasoline and the other for 2T-oil.
If you dont't fill that oil tank with two-stroke oil the engine will run dry after a couple of miles and the bearings in the motor blow up.
Then you need a complete rebuild of the engine which costs more than the value of the ET2.

You are a bit vague with your question.
Did it stop suddenly? Does it crank over?
Was there oil in the self mix tank?
Is there a spark at the plug?
Did you drain the carb for water?
Piaggio / Vespa scooters run on 98 petrol no problem.
Sounds it is a loose spark plug...
(or spark plug wire is somehow cut by wrong installation)
