Remove the side case on the chain clutch, remove the bar and chain, clean then oil ports thoroughly, clean the chain bar completely. Empty the chain oil tank and flush it with gasoline, there's a filter in the tank the gas will clean it, put it all back together and it should work fine. I've used Stihl for 25 years and never had any other problems with the chanin oil system.
SOURCE: no bar chain oil flow
I do not know how old the unit is but usually these saws get clogged often as result of wet plants with sand or dirt and they do clog the unit…see if you can take it to self car wash and pay few $$ to wash it and air pressure everything that if you do not have them LOL…I use this as it is the most cheapest way to clean my generators, garden equipments, etc. let me know..
SOURCE: oil does not lube chain on my chain saw, huqvarna, any ideas
It appears from the IPL and OM this saw does not have an adjustable oiler.
OM example here (2005 - may not be your saw):

IPL example here (2005 - may not be your saw):

I know you have done this, please verify whether or not you get the ooze with the saw running.
Oil System Plugged:
If it does not oil on completion of 1 it is most likely a bad oiler or worm gear (see IPL). I am seeing many non-adjustable oilers malfunctions, please contact Husky, there may be an unannounced repair.

If you try the repair yourself it has an outboard clutch (oiler behind it), this will help with removal. Your IPL is also beneficial.

SOURCE: no oil flows to chain...
Depending on your knowledge and experience -
1. Find your manual and check on maintenance routines.
2. If no manual avail - clean your saw and your bar.
Bar - oil holes clear, groove clean etc
Saw - locate where the oil pumps out - ensure any guides, holes etc are clean.
3. If saw gas manual oil pump adjustment screw -advance the flow
4 Drain the oil tank checking for dirt etc and if necessary clean tank with a little of your fuel.
5.Refill oil tank AFTER it is clean and dry.
6. Replace bar/chain etc and test if flow is better
If still no good you may need to repair/replace oil pump -not that hard to do but if in doubt take it to a reputable dealer.
