When applying the brake to stop sounds like something is loose than when apllying the gas the same noise
SOURCE: Front end squeaking possible rotor rubbing something.
Have you checked the metal clips that olds the brake pads in the front galiper bracket. They usualy rust, break loose and come in contact whit the disc, creating a squeaking noise. Those should be replace since they are needed for the brakes to work properly
SOURCE: strange noise from front end when turning
It has springs around the struts above the tires. Sounds like you have a bad strut plate bearing.
SOURCE: Have replaced brake shoes, now front end shimmies when brake is applied.
Well it sounds as though you know why it shimmies
Whatever or however the brakes were serviced,it
was not done correctly.
If you went to one of the Franchase places & waited
for the work to be done, you learned your lesson
If you didn't spend $400.00 or more, they just did a quick
who knows what.
