locate the oil plug, under car. put pan under it to catch the oil.remove oil plug and let it drain. when all oil is out, replace the oil pan plug that you took out.after doing this remove the oil filter and discard it. put on new oil filter and tighten as much as possible only hand tight. then put in the new oil. check for leaks, and thats it. good-day !
Under your car in the front should be the oil pan. It has a bolt on one of it's sides. Loosen this bolt and take it out. Don't forget to put something under your car to catch the old oil. Also, change the oil filter. You should see the oil filter while you are under your car. Before putting in new oil and filter, make sure you put the bolt back in the oil pan. Put a little new oil into the new filter and wipe some oil with your finger around the oil filter rubber gasket. Make sure you don't overfill with oil !
A typical automobile holds 4-5 quarts of oil.....Depends on the size of motor. If changing yourself, Drain out all oil, change filter, put oil plug back in. Put 3- 31/2 quarts back into car. put oil cap on and start car. Let run for 2-3 minutes then shut back off. Wait for a few. if you can't detect oil level or usage, there's no way to determine how much oil to put in the car.
you can drain it all and put in "x" amount of oil. but if it uses oil, think about it, how do you know how much to put in if you can't determine the level.

Remove drain plug from oil pan to drain oil. Remove oil filter using filer wrench. Instatt new oil filter. Put oil drain plug back in. Check owner's manual for oil capacity, put all oil in minus one quart. Start engine let run for aproximately 10 seconds. put in rest of oil and check dip stick to ensure corret amont.
