If you do not have fuel and spark, means that the gas pump has no electric power too. Check all the blockages that prevent the engine from starting (main switch on the handle bar) and the side stand switch.

Hey whats up? Try back probing your wires going to the CDI unit with a volt meter or continuity tester to make sure you do have any broken wires. Then check the stater make it is good. If sure how to check the starter take it a bike repair shop they should check it for free.. If that does work let me know and I will look further into it for you. Good Luck.

SOURCE: No spark

Check the side stand kill switch if your bike has one. It kills the engine so that you don’t start out with the side stand down. If broken or out of adjustment, it would kill the spark. Check for a broken wire at the side stand switch and coupler. Try moving the kill switch by hand. If that doesn’t work then wire a jumper around the switch to bypass it. Check the fuses. How good is the battery? Try a jump start from your car battery. Is the handlebar kill switch on? Check the operation of the ignition switch and all kill switches with a volt ohmmeter. Install new spark plug.

If that doesn't do it, check the wiring harness. Did a wire come unplugged? Are all wires clean and with solid connections? Any abraded or pinched wires? Is the bike in neutral and the neutral light is lit up? If no neutral light, check the neutral switch and neutral switch wire on center casing. If still no spark, get CDI system and coils checked at the dealers shop. You can screw up a CDI unit checking it yourself.

SOURCE: have an 1987 honda hurricane F-1 600. Can't get

talk to me dude, i own an 87 and an 88, tell me exactly what it does and sounds like. On my 87, i had a time for about two months that my bike would never start, but it would always push start. I troubleshot every part of that bike, replaced fuel pump and fuel relay took apart push start switch changed plug wires replaced fuel filter and then i had to get out the schematics and ring out every damn wire in the whole circuit from the spark unit to the "PULSE" generators. I found one set of pulse wires totally open and the other had low resistance...since my bike is a rat bike and the fairings are already off, i just took the left side generator cover off and there was a lot of oil in there and i found out that this is normal, my 88 does the same thing...but the problem is that especially in summer time when its extremely hot the hot oil puddles down in there and literally cooks the pick-ups, you'll see them there's two square black shaped blocks with metal tabs sticking out..now i visually saw that one of them was cooked and the voltmeter confirmed it so i went to a salvage yard and picked one up for $50 and installed it and i'll be damned, it was like music to my ears again..a normally starting bike, no more push starting ..so tell me does it push start?..and dont tell me your like a guy a met at the Rockstore who just bought an1988 NT 650 hawk and was having trouble getting his bike started. Him and his friend were swapping batteries because his was drained from so many attempts to start it..i"m sure he probably fried his starter too from doing all that..well i couldnt stand to see this awesome looking classic bike being abused when i new there was nothing wrong with it because i saw him riding the thing up and down the Snake all day...i said hey did you try and push start it first before you wasted all your time swapping batteries? and at least he had the balls enough to tell me that he didnt know how. Its o.k., im an old school guy and you young guys just need to learn..i told him how and he was still reluctant, so he said could i do it, and i Immediately said yes!! and get a chance to ride an NT 650 hawk.. a very rare bike, hell yeah, i'll push start it, but you at least get me started im, tired and he said o.k. ...so i said faster, faster... the key was on gear in neutral, raised up in seat, clutch in, slam down into first ,let out clutch exactly when i slam down into the seat an Viola! it started first time, so i took it for a little ride down the street to clean out his dirty fuel filter and charge up his battery, and it wasn't too bad a bike, but my Hurricance would kicks its *** in a heart beat..right bronci2? these Hurricanes are probably one of the fastest bikes off the line, that you'll ever own, i even beat an CBRXX Blackbird,( the first ever fastest production line bike ever made off the line, and the guy was pissed so when he got it into third gear he was screeming by me..man i want one of those too! 177 mph top speed, dont worry about the fuel pump its probably o.k. yes its very quiet, and doesn't make noise, well this is how you can check it take the pump off and drain it then reinstall it and when it first starts to prime you'll hear it until it fills up again..in fact you'll know when your pump is going bad because you can hear it. take your generator cover off and have a look inside and see if anything looks burnt in there if it doesnt then ring out the wiring you should get a resistance reading of 450 to 500 ohms on two sets of wires. to find where to check this follow the wire harness up from the cover to the first disconnect. then you can ring right in to the wires from there. let me know if it push starts first? always try a push start first before wasting all your time because 50% of the time its either the battery is low or bad fuel(water) or clogged fuel filter. dont ever sell that bike you'll be sorry...run it into the ground.. i got mine for $500 dollars and raced it for over two years now, and put over 30k extremely hard miles on it and i've crashed it three times and i picked it up and it started everytime one time it took two attempts but it started. these things are bullet proof but the key to making it last is a lot of oil changes..you just go by instinct..if you thrash the bike a lot like i do, then it needs more frequent oil changes, a girl rider that i passed on her liter bike waved me over at the track and said hey i saw smoke coming somewhere out of the back of your bike and she didn't know if it was my brakes or what so another rider came up to see what the commotion was about and she said oh my! i saw smoke coming from somewhere! and the guy said yeah i saw it too..its coming from your exhaust pipe..and i was like ill be damned, smoke coming out of an exhaust pipe i road it around and didn't see what i thought was alot but then again i did crash it once an broke an oil pump chain and only had two miles to go home but it had like 48k miles on it and i wanted to see just how tuff these bikes are so i road it home and found that a lot of little metal particles where in the oil because the chain was eating up a loose bolt, so i drained it an installed a new chain and i"ve still been riding it and racing it but i did notice in the last race that it did seem to lose a little top end speed so yeah it only goes 133 mph instead of 140 so what! i have an almost brand new 88 and i took it to the track and its way quicker and more responsive through the entire rpm range totally unlike my 87 ,but hey its only got 15k on the odometer. My 88 will do 80 to125 on the track in 6 seconds when im in a race tuck position, my 87 takes about twice as long to get up to that speed but it does get up there.
try and push start it if it doesnt start the rap on the fuel pump a little thenturn the key on and cycle the kill switch on and off this supposedly cycles or primes the pump if needed.
later Mr Hurricane!

I have a honda 2004 cbr600 don't want to star

There are many reason a vehicle will not start:
1) Battery drained -could be solved by kick starting.
2) No spark-check spark plugs
3) Check fuses
4) Ignition
5) Old fuel.
6) Clogged carburetor (if it is not Fuel injected)
7) Bad fuel pump

1998 honda cbr 600 headlight not working? put in a new bulb and a good fuse.

You will have to check your starter button. It is a two position switch. When you push it in half way the light turns off to commit more battery power to the starter. When it is all the way in it engages the solenoid. It may be dirty or broken and is keeping the head light from working.

One place to start,  Spark to ignition and power fuel are two different sources.  Unless they both work off the same fuse.  The fuel pump needs power to run the fuel pump, Ignition needs spark to fire the engine. Check your fuses because in my opinion it is odd that they both went out at same time.  Good Luck
