Oil bolt threads.
Tighten head bolts in an "X" pattern.
Tighten bolts to 7-9 ft/lbs
Tighten bolts to 12-14 ft/lbs
Using a Sharpie type pen, make a vertical mark on the bolt head and a matching mark on the cylinder head next to it.
Tighten each bolt 1/4 turn, using marks as a guide.

That's it!

What are the cylinder head torque specs for a 1999 cadillac deville 4.6l

I can help you with this but I have to ask one question. Have you already taken this apart and putting it back together? Did you rethread all the head bolt holes because they strip out when you tighten them and you will ruin the head gaskets. Let me know, I have don't this job quite a few times. I'll have to look up the actual torque specs. Also you are wanting the spec for the cylinder head bolts and not the cylinder head cover bolts right?
