Have you checked your valve timing as it sounds like you are putting back pressure in to your inlet valves forcing the fuel through the carb and out the overflow
I did just get it back from shop a couple weeks ago for the stator, but it's ran great daily, today I started it and pulled out of my garage it died as if too much fuel and the over flow started up
Also the spark plug is soaking wet with fuel, and this is a 2 stroke
Thank you for the advice, problem is solved, the spark plug was bad, also gave carb a good cleaning
Fuel overflowing was caused by some dirt in the fuel float valve....

SOURCE: at first gas would just start pouring out of the
Check the level of the fuel in the float chamber, it could be low.
You can also check the solenoid valve ....turn the ignition 'on' and you should hear a click sound at the s/valve, this proves the valve to be openning ones the ignition is turned 'on'.
Hope this helps!

SOURCE: i have a 1991 cr250 wont start it has compression
just adjust the accelerator cable that is connecting to the fuel pump.check the and repair the throttle cause its the reason why it wont start . Its flooding the because of too much release of gas to the carb.

You will have to adjust the float pin of tht particular carb and don't remove them off the rack..just pull them out of the engine and work on the one tht needs attention.
Hope this helps!

Carb's can be cleaned, hope you didn't throw money away on a new one for dirt.
You may have dirt in the gas tank getting to the carb. If you can, remove the bowl drain, (At the bottom) and see if there is sediment in it.(dirt)
