I am looking for a free download of a service manual and/or owners handbook for a Yamaha 1991 Xj600 motorcycle

    The Safemanuals user guide was correct except for two very minor differences.

    The Parts catalogue was not xj600 as shown on the carlsalter web site it's for an XJ600N (not my model)
    The other two manuals were not for my model.

Go to this site and you can download a free PDF service manual.
www.carlsalter.com/motorcycle-manuals.asp Most all of the manuals are in English but some are not. There is no way to be sure without doing the download. You can always delete it if in a foreign language.

    Well, bummer on the manuals. All I had to go by was XJ600.
