loosen the bolt at the back of the fork...then the cable hold the brake in your hand...center it and retighten the bolt...then adjust the cable..should be good.
newer cars have switches for adjustment loosen mount screws there is a slot there move to one side and retighten. for cable on older cars loosen switch on side of transmission move and retighten, if cable is worn the shifter will show the same when in all gear. adjust cable mounts. also check motor and tranmission mounts.
Take battery cable off and clean them with a wire brush then retighten them. Its sounds like they are just not tight enough. Also make sure to clean the posts on the battery too.If it still just clicks then check the battery voltage you should have at least 12 volts. If you don't you will to charge it and if it does'nt take a charge then replace it.
Dead Battery. Try jump starting, then run it by any good parts store and have charging system tested and battery "load tested". Most parts stores (Autozone, Advance, etc..) will do this FREE
Hello After looking at a schematic unless there is an adjuster on the other end of the cable there no adjustment. Depending on how long that cable has been on there it may be starting to stretch or individual strands and starting to break.
It sounds like a poor ground. Alyhough I'm sure they ck'd it, Check both ends of the ground cable. Even loosening to ensure good contact on retighten. Same with positive cable. Ground cable is more important.Good luck. If headlights go out when you only get a click, and stay out , you know its a bad connection. If they just dim , the battery has issues
