I have a 92 FZR 3GM, it won't rev past 4k, but if I toggle the kill switch it will rev full rpm untill it goes below 4k. I have changed plugs, pick-up, coils and carbs. disconnected the altenator but...

If you have changed your ignition coils then I think your problem is best tackled by your bike dealership. This seems to be a growing problem. My suggestion would have been to check the consistency of the primary and secondary loops of the ignition coils.
Cheers.

CANT GET MY FZR TO FIRE CHECKED EVERY THING THE BOOK SAYS TO DO BUT NO HIT

check for fuel to the carbs, pull plugs and check for spark in the plugs while cranking over. if no fuel check the fuel shutoff, if no spark, check for +12v at the coils and also the c.d.i. box.

I got fzr 600 91 the left and right spark got power but not the middle ones what could be going on

The outside cylnders run off one coil and the inside two run off another coil, so there is a problem with a wire off or coil failed. if you swap the input wires on the two coils and the same coil doesnt spark it is definately that coil.

if you have a multi meter,
check the primary resistance on both coils around 2 ohms.
and secondary resistance between the two plug leads with the caps removed about 15 ohms, these figures are aproximate but you are looking for a different reading in the coil that doesnt work.
The black box is likely ok because one coil sparks. The other check would be the pick up coils which will be around 400ohms.

Make sure when you check for spark that a plug is in the plug cap and it is grounded to the engine or this can build up current in the coil and damage it

Fzr 1000 exup ru miss fire at 4000rpms

The stator coils and magneto consist of source, lighting and pulse coils. Source coils have two phases or speeds. If the same symptoms apply with as many lights on as you can, you generally have a spot of bother inside the motor. The coils can be tested in situ at a good workshop. If problem is periodically solved with all lights on, your regulator/rectifier and cdi box are suspect. It may also be a case of wrongly sequenced wiring, IE kill switch connected before rectifier or ignition coil wires. The colour connections may be right...just out of sequence. Cheers and goodluck.
