Please do not mess with the fuel metering. All motorcycles are as efficient as they can be right from the factory. if you want better mileage you MUST get a smaller bike. I repeat, if you mess with your fuel system, your bike will just run poorly and you may actually damage it. Anyone saying they can improve your mileage with a "KIT" is just stealing your money and possibly ruining your bike.

SOURCE: how to service the bike at home

Best thing would be to obtain a service manual for the particular year and model of your motorcycle. The manual will show you the service intervals and tasks.

You can either obtain a service manual from the dealership or you might find something online, try Google.

Basic service usually means replacing fluids in all compartments (engine and transmission), clutch adjustment, clean or replace air cleaner, clean, gap or replace spark plugs, lube all parts that pivot, check tire pressures, visually inspect components like brake pads tires etc.

Hope that helps.

SOURCE: how to fit front master cylinder repair kit

Just remove the lever, gently pull rubber boot out of the body, take a snap ring pliers, and remove the circlip, and pull the piston out of the body. Use the piston as a reference to install the seals correctly on the new piston. Be sure to take out the screw in the reservoir, remove the reservoir, and clean the fluid return pin hole ( Must Be Clear) , next to the large fluid feeder hole. Also using a dowel covered with a lint free cloth gently wipe out the piston sleeve being careful not to scratch the walls ( Do Not Hone The Master Cylinder or it will be ruined). Coat parts with brake fluid before reassembly in reverse order. Cover bike with plastic and put some old rags under master cylinder. Before tightening brake hose bolt, fill the master cylinder with dot 3/4 brake fluid and pump the lever until the master cylinder is pushing fluid out the end where bolt and hose are loosely connected, now tighten bolt holding the brake line on. This will aid greatly in bleeding the system.

Tvs victor gl 2003 valve clearance value?

The Victor GL was the first bike from the "Victor" series. The bike was loaded with 109cc 4-stroke engine, which was later known for its fuel efficiency and robustness. However the style quotient of the bike was a little low but TVS had compensated the same by launching the stylish "Victor GLX" later on with 125cc.

TVS Victor GLX which size bearing fits the front wheel axle?

The one that fits the space! The existing one has numbers on it and those numbers are inside and outside diameter and width.

Or take the wheel and the axle to a machine shop.

Or just buy the bearing!

I have TVS victor GLX 2004 model. There is a fork oil leakage & the mechanic says there is a problem with inner tubes which contains fork oil(both sides). Price for one inner tube is Rs. 1200 /- Also...

see...this is not the right solution ectually! he (mechanic) must had to tell you the truth. that there is no need to change wheel bearing & chain damaged along with complete change the things. if you had no idea at that moment than you must resell this bike and should go for new one. but.... what will you do? if the same situation happen again in future with your new one.

you must changed the fork oil just. these cost you just around 650/- per pair. mechanic was the over smart and he knew that you do not know anything about the bike and it's service with spare part.

i have too this one TVS VICTOR GLX 125 CC 2004 nov. model. and i m very much satisfied with it. if you compare with these days bike's ... than you realize...it give more mileage than other and less maintainable.

so.. if you have that bike now a days... so keep it with you. and find better mechanic. bike is not problem.
