I just ran the VIN on the Yamaha dealer system & it's not valid. If you can you post the correct VIN on the frame I'll run it again but that one's not valid according to Yamaha.

Where can i find parts to a 2 stroke 100cc yamaha 1986 model YAM3UL0097

Depends on the part. Lots of maintenance parts are available for older Yamaha units but no dealer is going to stock them waiting for someone to walk in the door looking for 35 year old parts for everything Yamaha ever made. That's what the big Yamaha warehouses are for. Call your local dealer or try Rock River Powersports in Wisconsin, they run Yamaha's MX racing program. If they can't get it, it's not available.

I have a 1990 VMax. The color is a beautiful deep metallic blue, almost black looking out of the sunlight. What is the name of the blue and where do I find the color code on the bike. I want to respray...

Hello Graham...your bike does have a very unique paint color.

In 1990 - Yamaha called this "Shiny Black" which is actually black with blue metal flake in it.
The code number (if any) was usually on a small white sticker up by the steering head, or in the orginal owners manual. I hope this helps.

Year modal of dirt bike fram vin 583-004045

If that is all your vin number has to offer, it doesn't follow the rules of street bike vin numbers, usually, the first letters are a code, then the first digit is street or dirt, 2nd is model, 3rd is a letter for liquid or air, 4th is engine size, 5th is HP, 6th is check digit, 7th is year, the 8th should be a letter for the city of manuf.and finally the series number. All these digits are codes, you can look them up on line. Hope this helps.

How do youfind a serial number on a yamaha 125 dirt bike 2004

Should be stamped on the neck of your motorcycle or on the left hand side lower rail. Look on the neck, right side, under the dirt.

Where is the neck? It is the place where the front wheel assembly is fastened to the rest of the motorcycle.

Kawasaki KDX 200 code year

Any Kawasaki dealer can look up the code and tell you what year and model your bike is. The parts department usually is the one with the codes. Give them a phone call. Once you know the year and model, the following site MIGHT have a free service manual PDF download. http://www.carlsalter.com/motorcycle-manuals.asp Most manuals are in English but some are not. There is no way to be sure without doing the download. You can always delete it if in a foreign language. Another site is available for viewing only but is limited to parts diagrams w/ part numbers and prices.

Go to the site below and you can see the parts diagram. Yes, I know the link says Yamaha. You will select the brand, year, model, etc...
