I just ran the VIN on the Yamaha dealer system and it came back as invalid. Can you double check it?

Where can i find parts to a 2 stroke 100cc yamaha 1986 model YAM3UL0097

Depends on the part. Lots of maintenance parts are available for older Yamaha units but no dealer is going to stock them waiting for someone to walk in the door looking for 35 year old parts for everything Yamaha ever made. That's what the big Yamaha warehouses are for. Call your local dealer or try Rock River Powersports in Wisconsin, they run Yamaha's MX racing program. If they can't get it, it's not available.

I HAVE A 100CC YAMAHA DIRT BIKE MODEL CODE yam3ul0097 i need to know what year it is

I just ran the VIN on the Yamaha dealer system & it's not valid. If you can you post the correct VIN on the frame I'll run it again but that one's not valid according to Yamaha.

Scooter 49cc

well this scooter has a 2 stroke engine (meaning it mixes oil and gas) so it would need any kind of 2-stroke oil, it is always recommended to NOT buy the cheapest oil and rather to spend a little more on an oil brand that works better.

Linhai Yamaha 100cc 2 stroke 2005 quad bike. Kickstart not catching. Any ideas and rough prices

Could be a spring or it could be a gear or it could be an adjustment. I don't know where you live. In my area, opening up a engine case is at least $100.00. As you consider the situation, keep in mind that there may be broken parts floating around in your crank case/gear box. A broken part in the gears in the transmission will be lots more than the $100.00. You don't mention anything about make, model or year of your motorcycle, btw, making a more definitive response impractical.

Your best coourse of action may be to go to the local motorcycle shop and speak with the service writer about your problem. That will be no charge.

Linhai Yamaha 100cc 2 stroke 2005. Kickstart not catching. Could this be down to the gear in the kickstart. Would appreciate any help and rough price to fix if anyone knows. Cheers kev

This looks familiar ... with a little more info. Coujld be an adjustment, a spring or a broken part. I suggest you disccuss with the service writer at your Yamaha shop before yo do anything.

I see they are selling in the UK for 400 to 900 pounds ...I dont know what that is in US $, seems yours is probably worth repairing.

I have just picked up a 1967 yamaha yl2 100cc bike, can someone tell me what grade of oil to run in the autolube system please?? Thanks

On a machine as old as this any present-day 2-stroke oil will outperform the original manufacturers specification.

I have an old Yamaha motorcycle that has been stored for many years. I do not know what model it is. I can find the serial number AS 1-305385. Can you tell me the model and year? I am trying to see if...

Older models have the build date and model on the steering head even a 73 will have the build date and the VIN and the country it's built in. not knowing what era your bikes in all *** bikes have the CC of the engine on the front of the block under the fins near the base of the cyclinder 249 cc, 348cc 174 cc 123cc, 99cc, 49cc If you tell me what cyclinders it has does it have an extenal oil tank does it have numbers anywhere like YM1 YDS3 . An AS1 would be a 100cc twin 2 stroke with an extenal oil tank and upsweeped pipes.
