What are the steps involved in removing the rear wheel. I have no opperators manual. not sure about the shaft drive.
To remove the wheel, all you need to do is remove the caliper from the right side with allen wrench, move caliper and the swing arm up and away from the wheel. remove axle, jack the bike up and wiggle the tire to the right side and down, do not remove the final drive (learned this lesson the wrong way!)
I have a loud wine in my drive train, I think it is at the end of the drive shaft and there is a lot of play when you let off the throttle or give throttle.

Hope this helps.
the manual isn't there anymore
to remove the rear wheel, you need to remove the caliper which is held on by 2 allen type screws, remove the caliper and place out of the way, (i tied mine to the frame outside of the wheel well) then take the swing arm that the caliper was located on and swing it upwards. On the left side of the bike remove the axle nut cover, use a 22mm socket and ratchet to break the axle nut loose, then go to the right side of the wheel and remove the nut with a 27mm socket. gently tap the axle towards the other side of the bike with a piece of wood and a hammer. remove the axle, jack the bike up as high as you can safely do so, wiggle the wheel towards the side you removed the caliper from, and the wheel should come right out!. Don't mess with any part of the final drive!!! (i learned that expensive lesson the hard way)

1. Remove it.
2. Disassemble it. You will need snap ring pliers.
3. Reassemble it with new rubber seals.
4. Reinstall it and bleed the brake system.
(Check price on replacement, as it may be comparable to the price of just the parts.)
