Have you checked to see if you have good spark? If you dont have spark i would check the switch on the handlebars. If you do have spark then recheck the timing on the stater.
indications are that there is no complete circuit
for current to flow you need power supply and a ground
so check for a ground wire not connected some where including the coil as metal case coils can ground out through the case and the mounting bracket
to get the plug to spark the metal thread section has to be grounded out as well
Hi... Problem with your bike...Let me help you.... I see you have , one spark then nothing... well I suggest to look first at your condensor and your electronics Ignition Box... Make sure your battery is full charge.. when you try to start the bike several time
it take so much current on the battery, then you dont have enough
voltage to innitiate your spark correctly to your spark plug ... if it yellowish or redish it no good, but if it blue spark it correct..
also check the voltage from the magneto see if it gave you the right volgage to the coil when you start..
the battery is use only to start the engine till the magneto take over
The right voltage it betwen 12V to 14Volts when the motor is running ...
Make sure the coils are earth properly which will cause the " no spark "
Check all connections , make sure every things are nice and tight .
Check all fuses .
let me know how you go
Could be a bad coil, coil wire or module. The module converts the pulses of the stator so the coil knows when to spark. Bad coil = no spark. Bad coil wire = no spark to plug.
