Check the level of the fuel in the float chamber, it could be low.
You can also check the solenoid valve ....turn the ignition 'on' and you should hear a click sound at the s/valve, this proves the valve to be openning ones the ignition is turned 'on'.
Hope this helps!

SOURCE: My TTR 125 wouldn't start after being idle for

The adjuster tang on the float (in green) rises and falls to maintain fuel level. It pushes on the float needle to stop the flow and drops to let fuel in. Did you loose the needle? If all parts are there, gently bend the tang upward to lower the gas level in the carb.

A “very helpful” rating for this answer? Thanks!

SOURCE: carburators leaking

Tap the bowls with a screw driver handle while the gas is turned on. Your floats are sticking. If that doesnt work then you have to take the bowl off and make sure your floats are not bent.

SOURCE: brand new 24MM MIKUNI CARBURETOR that floods out the bowl...

Carb's can be cleaned, hope you didn't throw money away on a new one for dirt.
You may have dirt in the gas tank getting to the carb. If you can, remove the bowl drain, (At the bottom) and see if there is sediment in it.(dirt)

We're does the hose on the bottom of the carburetor go on a 2007 honda crf 100

The hose on the bottom of the carburetor of a 2007 Honda CRF 100 should be connected to the carburetor overflow drain tube. The overflow drain tube is a small tube located on the bottom of the carburetor bowl. It is designed to allow excess fuel to drain from the bowl and prevent flooding of the carburetor.
To connect the hose to the overflow drain tube, first locate the tube on the bottom of the carburetor bowl. Next, slide the end of the hose onto the tube and secure it with a hose clamp if necessary. It is important to make sure the hose is securely attached to the drain tube to prevent fuel leakage.

Why is gas coming out the Overflow not sure that I have the hoses hooked up right

They ARE backwards. You have two ******* on one side of the fuel pump and one on the other. Disconnect the fuel supply. The air hose is the breather hose from the valve chamber. The fuel pump works on pressure and vacuum. The single nipple is from the pump to the carb. The other two? Sherlock Holmes it and look at hose lengths.

Hey Dean, What else do you need to know about this bike? Here is what you need... get it while you can!!!!
1980 1987 Kawasaki KD80 Repair Manual Clymer M350 9 Service Shop Garage

Hey Dean, If the floats are plastic, they are preset,if the floats are separate, riding on metal "pins" and each float arm must be separately.. you will have to get a manual or http://www.mikuni.com/ and find the info you need.. if they are too low you will lean out.. if they are too high you will get gas overflow...(If you can't wait.. set them so they "FLOAT" high in the bowl..).. it should run ok, just leak gas out the overflow hose..

Ok I cleaned the carborator to my 99 Honda beartracker 250 and I took of the small narrow hose on the bottom off of the bowl off and when I was putting it together noticed the other end was detached too....

that hose is the overflow
the normal place for them to go is between yout engine and your frame and they dangle under the bike
just in case of any overflow problems

How do the hoses go on my carb 1975 suzuki rm 125

How many hoses do you have? On most bikes you have a larger hose, for fuel, and two smaller hoses for carb overflow. You can take off the bowl from the carb and turn on the gas (outside the garage).........and if gas flows out you have the fuel hose on correctly. The smaller overflow hoses are not that important. They are just there to take any fuel overflow away from the carburetor.

Carbuator leaks gas on motorcycle

Two possibilities; the float bowl gasket is leaking, or the carburetor is overflowing (gasoline is coming out of the overflow tube).
If coming from the float bowl gasket, simply remove the float bowl and replace the gasket.
If it is overflowing remove the float bowl, pull out the float hinge pin, remove float and float valve. Clean the valve and inspect the valve for excess wear (a noticeable groove worn into the tapered seat) and replace if needed. While you have the float out, shake it and listen for any gasoline that may have leaked inside it. If there's liquid inside the float, toss it and buy a new one (or else your carb will overflow with gasoline constantly). Before you put the float bowl back on be sure to clean it out with soapy water and an old tooth brush.
That should take care of any leaks or overflowing.
