SOURCE: what type of motor oil used in 1994 harley davidson 883

harley recomends that you use their oil but i would be carefull because it is a cynthetic now if you were using regular oil what that will do is clean all the old build up out of the motor this can be bad because after time there are pin hole leaks that occure but the build up stops it from leaking but if you use cynthetic you cant go back to regular oil it will gum up on you and ruen your motor so you got to find out what has been put in it. but use a 10-30

SOURCE: do new 1450cc harley davidson

Where the Hell do people come up with these answers. Dude your motor takes 20/50 or synthetic oil. For your Evo I recommend Harley 20/50. Your Primary and Transmission takes Harley trannie and primary oil. Unless a person runs Harley Synthetic then all 3 cases can be run the same oil. You do not have to run Harley Brand. any air cooled motorcycle brand will work. amsoil is one and alot of people run red line in their tranny. But to keep it simple and sweet You can run Synthetic in all 3 cases...If running 20/50 thats for engine and Harley trannie and primary is different.

SOURCE: how do you remove the front fender on a Harley

Depending on the bike.. On all the "easiest" thing to do is drop the front wheel, remove the 4 bolts holding the fender on. Watch out for the sheet metal tabs that lock the bolts in place. Now depending on the model you may have a light on the front of your fender, you will have the joy of disconnecting it first. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Where do you add transmission fluid, what kind,

The transmission and primary are lubed by the same lubricant. You pour one quart into the inspection hole at the top of the primary cover. Use H-D primary & transmission lube for Sportsters.

How do i check transmission fluid level

On the right side of the bike on the transmission, there is a chrome end cap. This is the clutch release mechanism. On top of it is a plug that takes a 3/8" hex key or Allen wrench to remove. Stand the bike up straight and take the plug out. It has a dip stick on it. Wipe it off and stick it back in the hole, don't screw it n. Take it out and the fluid level should be between the two lines. Your transmission holds 20-24 ounces of transmission lube. It came with H-D Syn 3, 20W50 engine oil in it.

Where do you add transmission fluid on an 04 roadking

On the right side of the bike, right behind the cap that you add engine oil in. There is a chrome cover (clutch release cover) on the right end of the transmission with a large plug in it. Most of the time it takes a 7/16 "Allen" wrench to remove the plug. It will have a dip stick on the plug. Check the oil in the transmission with the bike standing straight up. If you need to add oil, you can use the Harley Davidson Syn3 oil as Harley says it can be used in either the engine, transmission, or the primary. Otherwise use Harley Davidson sythetic transmission lube. If you drain the transmission, refill with 20-24 ounces of oil.

Add transmission fluid to 2001 Harley dyna low rider

the tranny plug is behind the oil spout its usually a big allen head bolt. You should use a quality oil like AMSOIL 20W50 motorcycle oil or AMSOIL gear oil. I have the 20W50 in mine and really like the benifit of not having a pultrolium product in my bike. You can get the AMSOIL online a http://hbsynlube.com/sales. You'll beglad you changed it.
