07 gsxr 600 cuts out at 10,000 rpm drops suddenly

The bike runs fine in neutral as soon as you put it in gear it only revs to 10,000 rpm before it acts like it hits the rev limiter. We have replaced the ecu, fuel injection, fuel pump, crank sensor, still doing the same thing. NO codes. If you have any ideas let us know

Gsxr cuts out

replace the fuel pump or adjust the TPS. It doesnt do it in nuetral its because it is not under a load. Put in dealer mode to check the TPS. It should read -COO... If the - is not in the middle (if its up top or on bottom) it needs to be adjusted.

Runs and starts fine but will not rev over 9,000 rpms, in neutrol or going down the road, runs great, starts great, revs good till 9,000. wont go over lke it cuts out. idles good. what is it, 98 gsxr 750...

First impression was why would anyone rev their motorcycle to 9 grand in neutral? I could see if you were in gear clutch pulled and ready for a "drag" or Race Start but in neutral?

Anyway I can't hear it so if the sound is like it hits 9k and starts popping then two things either an over rev limiter which I doubtr because the engine red lines at 13,500 OR you have a set of spark plugs breaking down under load

I started my 2006 suzuki gsxr 600 for the first time since fall and it starts fine in neutral but as soon as u put it in gear it shuts off. The kick stand is up and it will not start in any other gear but...

check the kick stand switch...it sounds like it sticking out....so even when you put the kick stand up the switch is stuck out....so the engine wil cut out as it thinks kick stand is still down....give it a spray with wd40...or something like ....but work it till it no longer sticks.......

I just started my 2006 suzuki gsxr 600 for the first time since fall and it starts fine in neutral but as soon as i put it in gear it cuts off. The kickstand is up

Sounds like your clutch is stuck on [not disengaging when you pull the leaver]This can happen over a long storage-no use period. To fix put the bike in 3rd gear and start the engine with the clutch lever pressed[caution the bike will want to surge forward so keep your foot on the brake]Make shure to have the engine up to normal running temperature before you try this fix.the engine firing along with the brake pulled will release the sticking clutch plates. This will work!!!

2003 SUZUKI GSXR 600 SHIFTING QUESTION I have a 2003 Suzuki GSXR 600 with only 2,500 miles on it (never been dropped or abused im the 2nd owner) and was riding it the other day at around 30mph and suddenly...

The transmission on your bike is not syncronized like a cars trans. When you are trying to shift from neutral at speed you must slow down to allow the gears to mesh. As far as having to rock the bike into gear sometimes, I have owned eighteen motorcycles of different sizes and makes and have had to rock all of them at one time or another to get them in gear. again lack of syncronization. It really doesn't sound as if you have a problem.

2003 SUZUKI GSXR 600 SHIFTING QUESTION

just input , not resolving anything. but i used to have a similar issue with mine, but i had a gs 750t . it has around 20,000 on the clock. sometimes it didnt want to shift into 1st from a dead stop, i had to let out on clutch, then pull clutch again , then it went right in. the gears are so fine cut in the bikes that once they get worn, even the shift fork, it gets a little harder to get into those gears without a little coaxing. by the sounds of it (without knowing the mileage) i dont think id worry too much. especially if its shifting up and down through gears without grinding of any sort. if the clutch is ok on it (being an 03) i assume its still touchy , ull be ok

Bike runs in neutral but cuts out when a gear is selected.

Your sidestand switch kills the engine if the bike is put in gear with the sidestand down. If your stand is up and this is happening either the switch is broken or out of position. If it is broken you can twist the wires together until you can replace the switch. If it is just bent out of position you can bend it back carefully.
