Manual transmission. 2.4L. NON-Turbo This just started a few days ago. The check engine came on the 2nd day after it started. The clutch feels the same as it always has. It shifts fine. But, then when driving after in gear, it starts to jerk. It does this in all gears, even when going down the highway at about 65 mph. I've owned this car for 8 years. It has about 92k miles.
Or plugwires are old...even ignition module..fuel system.
Testimonial: "Thanks Arnie! Yeah, it's all original. So, I was going to go ahead and do the plugs, wires and ignition coil."
Engine is missfiring, bad spark plug or ignition coil
let me know how you get on
Testimonial: "Thanks Jim. Those sound like good (easy) things to check. I guess I was thinking clutch related. Mainly because it has the same jerky response like when you first learn to drive a manual and don't get the shift quite right."
