Its common on those if you take the tank/air filter box off on the right side of the throttle bodies there is a plastic box with a wire that needs to be resoderd but a dealer sould be able to read the code

No problem. i have a chance to buy a 2007 600 gsxr with 2500 miles in what appears to be emaculate condition for 4000.00. i wanted to find out if there are any major flaws that will make this bike come...

The biggest difference is that the 2007 GSXR 600 has fuel injection instead of carbs. The FI symbol will alert you that the sensors on the Fuel Injection system have found a problem. When that happens, a dealer will be needed to hook up a code reader to see what the problem is. A dirty air filter is something you can fix. A fuel mapping problem is for the dealer to fix. Minor FI problems still let the bike run. Major problems shut down the fuel system so the engine will not even start. Other than that, just be sure the bike shifts smooth and easy and that all electrics and brakes work properly. How old is the battery? How much life is left in the chain? Does the clutch operate properly? How soon before new tires will be needed? I hope this helps. Please rate my answer.

I just installed a KR Tuned exhaust on my 2008 gsxr 600. The FI light stays on after putting on the full exhaust.

did you replace the o2 sensor?, might need a remap of the ECU to find the right fuel mixture. Change the air filter, K&N or something similar to get more air in. bunch of possibilities really

F1 displayed

The FI light is letting you know there is a problem with the Fuel Injection system on the bike. You will most likely need to take it to the dealer and have them diagnose it with their computer. You can check your fuses and make sure they are intact, but most likely dealership problem.

I have a 2005 gsxr 600 an a red light lights up on the dash an were the temp is it says f1 an has a slight miss in it

That FI message is a computer warning telling you something is wrong with your fuel injection system. Have you installed a power commander or fuel nanny recently?
