Low fuel light appears but i dont know how to activate the backup fuel tank

I reacently bought a yamaha xt 125 r and i dont know how to activate the backup fuel because my old bike had a valve to switch betwen normal and the reserve, sorry if i dont know the proper terms of those things im from portugal and dont how you say it thanks

If there is no manual "reserve" position on the fuel valve, then the warning light serves the same purpose and tells you to go get some more fuel.

Yamaha XT 125r low fuel system not working

there should be a fuel level relay in the top of the gas tank. i havent been able to find an image yet, but in a car, it is located within the fuel tank, mounted to the top- usually inside the fuel filter assembly.
