Very easy on this car. You don't even need to put the car up if you're not a big person. Remove the oil fill cap on the valve cover the warm and off engine. Unbolt the oil pan drain bolt at the bottom (don't lose the gasket) and let the oil drain out. Clean off bolt hole face and put the gasket and bolt back on. Bolt does not need much torque. Unscrew the oil filter on the front of the engine (might need filter wrench). Clean off filter face and make sure old gasket is removed (usually comes off with the filter). Put on new filter. Do not overtighten
While underneath, look around for leaks, damage to CV joint boots, cracks in hoses, etc.
Fill with about 3.5 qt 10-30W oil. Put oil fill cap back on. Run engine for about 30 sec. Shut off and check for leaks. Check oil level on dipstick after a couple minutes of engine running and add oil if needed.
Mark date and odometer in your log book. Recycle used oil.
Instructions Clean Cooler and Check Oil Levels 1 Run the mower for a period of five minutes to warm up the transmission oil. Once warmed, stop the engine and set the parking brake. 2 Lift up and secure the driver's seat in the open position. In most cases, the transmission oil cooler for the transmission is located under the seat. 3 Locate the oil cooler behind the transmission oil tank. The cooler looks like a small radiator and consists of hundreds of thin fins. Wipe the fins down with a clean rag to remove debris. 4 Locate the fill cap on the transmission oil tank and clean the area around it with a clean rag. This prevents dirt from getting into the transmission oil tank. 5 Remove the lid and check the level of oil on the dipstick connected to the underside of the lid. If the dipstick indicates the oil level is low, place a funnel into the hole and fill the transmission oil tank to the appropriate oil level. In most cases, use a 20W50 oil. However, this could differ depending on the brand of mower. Check the owner's manual for the exact viscosity. Change Transmission Oil 6 Lift up and secure the driver's seat in the open position. 7 Locate the silver or gray oil filter next to the transmission oil tank. Turn the filter counterclockwise with your hand to remove it from the coupler. If necessary, use an oil filter wrench to remove the filter. 8 Locate the inlet hose secured to the back of the filter coupler and pull it off. Drain the transmission oil into a large container. Plug the hose back in once oil stops draining. 9 Place an oil filter seal onto the oil filter, and place a small amount of oil onto the seal. Thread the seal onto the coupler and tighten it with your hand. 10 Wipe the area around the filler cap on the oil tank clean with a rag and then remove the cap. 11 Place a funnel into the transmission oil tank and fill it with 20W50 oil until the level of fluid reaches the "full" line on the oil dipstick. Thanks
Drain the crankcase oil into a clean container in which you are able to measure the amount. Replenish this amount up to the quantity stated in your hand book. Remove dipstick and fill the crancase with just this oil. Dip the oil level and using a scriber or a file, mark the dipstick at the level of the oil. Notes: 1. The quanity of oil is the engine capaity less the oil filter. 2. You may wish to use clean new oil and fit a new filter. If so, use the fill capacity including the oil filter, or add about another pint.
Always use Hero Honda 4T plus 20W40 Engine oil and after filling this oil, next oil replacement is after 4000kms.
Oil Filling Procedure: Drain the Old oil and tell the technician to remove the clutch case and remove the rotor and clean the clean the rotor, and then while fitting the clutch case need to replace the rotor gasket and clutch gasket.
Fill only 900 ml of Engine oil, and maintain the Engine oil level between minimum level to maximum level
fill the engine oil tank with 3 quarts of new oil start engine and run at least 30 seconds to allow oil system to fill. verify that oil is returning to the tank by observing through the filler neck. verify correct oil level at the tank adjusting as necessary.
transmission fluid you can check easy way the gear box is one oil to be so you can see in the middle of the gear box filling plug remove that with spanner if you see oil coming from hole that is fine you don't put more just putted back and tight. if you don't see any oil just use your finger front part through if the front part of your finger touch the oil that is also fine means ok. but is the oil is very low from that place you must fill. To get the level if you fill the oil you stop filling when you see oil is draining so you wait until oil stop clean the aria then you fixed back the filling plug or bolt tight.
that is my advice sorry any mistake of my tipping.
