SOURCE: What type of spark plug does a 1971 triumph

NGK B8ES
Champion N3
Lodge HLN
KLG FE100
All have 14mm thread diameter & 3/4" reach
Gap is 0.025" (0.64mm)

Hi,

For the record the clearances are:

Inlet: 0.15-0.20 mm
Exhaust: 0.25-0.30 mm

yes, but it would be several thousand dollars with all of the parts and labor. these require feedback from sensors, a high pressure fuel pump, a different wiring harness, and plenty of other parts that are very expensive.

Check below the engine around the motor mounts beneath the engine for broken wire or disconnected wire. I once had this problem with a 69 Bonne and it was a disconnected wire underneath. Could be disconnected around the ignition area as well....It's a wiring problem for sure.

My rpms seem to be to high on my bonneville. I cant tell because there is no tachometer. can any body tell me why they are so high?

if it's a twin it will seem like it's reving high, but the only way to tell is to install a tackomiter
