Better fuel mileage 2009 Piaggio Fly 150

It is mostly dependent on terrain when you hear such claims of 60 mpg. Obviously if you travel in areas that have more hills than people "claiming" to get 60 mpg you will only get 40 mpg.

What are the correct float heights in the carb for a derbi cross city 125???

Float height is not related to time. This is a very technical area (carb adjustment) best left to the pros who have the skills, knowledge and equally important, the measurement tools to properly adjust a carb. Time is an entirely different thing.

CARB ADJUSTMENT

The Float adjustment usually involves carefully bending a tab against the needle valve where the fuel enters the float bowl. Since the float, "floats", there is no external adjustment. The float should close the valve at a specific height, and open as the fuel level drops, thus controling the level of fuel in the bowl, which in turn controls the amount of fuel being ingested by the carb. As for cleaning, any over the counter fuel system cleaning additive will help with that, from any auto parts store.

I got a piaggio fly 50 4v that stop at the middle of my driving test then it wont start again what should be the problem?

Hi,
Check these parts.....
  • spark plug that might already fouled up and needs cleaning.
  • spark from ignition coil, if there are no sparks the CDi got problem
  • carburetor, check if there is a fuel going into the carb, choke it by hand, fuel moist must be seen on your hand. If not no fuel is flowing into the carb.
  • check fuel filter if fuel is coming out continuosly.

Hope that helps you out!
