Depends on what terrain you ride on if you want stiffer suspension use 10 wieght softer use 7.5 you can go down to 5 but thats a little lite for a 650

10w is the recommended weight so if you want stiffer use 15w not 10w

With the fork springs and spacers removed and the caps off, compress the fork leg all the way down, then fill each leg 6 inches from the top.

Honda FMX 650 - quantity of hydraulic oil

The best way,is to drain a fork leg into a container, and measure the amount. however if you cant do that, start of with about 100ml in each leg, test them out, if to soft, you can always add a little more oil. from memory, a 250ml bottle of fork oil was enough to do both legs on most bikes.

How do you replace fork oil and what do you do with air valves on 1981 kawasaki kz650 csr front forks? Do you pour in new fork oil and then insert air through the air nozzle on each individual front fork?...

Your owners manual will help if you have one. There used to be drain plugs under each fork. The air valves help suspension smoothen the rides more.
